Event Management & Entrepreneurial Training
Empowering Entrepreneurs Through Events and Training Excellence
At COGRAD, we believe entrepreneurship is not just a career path—it’s a movement. As a dynamic cooperative rooted in Perak, we go beyond agriculture and retail by becoming key players in event management and entrepreneurial training. Through these two impactful pillars, we create opportunities, build confidence, and promote innovation among our members and the larger community.

Event Management
Promoting Brands, Building Opportunities
Event management is one of the most vibrant tools COGRAD uses to promote our cooperative while creating real value for members. Our events are designed to offer maximum exposure, product visibility, and community outreach—especially for budding entrepreneurs looking to make their mark.
One of our landmark initiatives is the “Perkampungan Kopi” (Coffee Village)—a concept event that gathers coffee lovers, producers, and innovators under one roof. Planned as an annual event in Perak, this initiative isn’t just a celebration of local coffee culture, but a marketplace where entrepreneurs get the chance to showcase their coffee-based products, engage directly with customers, and participate in innovation competitions that spark creativity and refinement.
As a cooperative, COGRAD proudly wears two hats:
-
As Organiser: We plan and execute large-scale events related to entrepreneurship, cooperative promotion, and sectoral growth. These events empower our members and promote their products on a wider platform.
-
As Participant: We actively take part in exhibitions, expos, and programs organized by ministries, agencies, and other cooperatives—bringing along our member products, and sharing our expertise on a national level.
These events serve as more than just sales opportunities—they become strategic promotional tools for COGRAD and our members’ businesses.

Customers Testimonials

Azman Ali - Agropreneur & Event Participant
COGRAD's Perkampungan Kopi event was a game changer. Not only did I get to showcase my Robusta beans to a new audience, but I also made valuable connections with suppliers and other entrepreneurs. The technical training I received earlier helped me speak with confidence about my farm. Now, I’m preparing to expand my business with COGRAD’s guidance.

Nur Aina - Coffee-Based Product Founder, Kuala Kangsar
Before joining COGRAD’s entrepreneurship training, I only had a dream of turning my homemade coffee soap into a real business. The hands-on courses on packaging, marketing, and business planning opened my eyes to how to run a profitable and sustainable brand. Today, my products are sold in local expos and even featured at COGRAD events. It’s more than just training—it’s a complete support system.

A shining example of our community-driven effort is the “Jualan Rahmah” program hosted by COGRAD in Kuala Kangsar—a one-day discounted sales event promoting Malaysia’s affordable food & beverage offerings. We were overwhelmed by the response as nearly a thousand people visited our booth, proving that the right mix of outreach, organization, and product quality creates true impact.

Showcasing Our Cooperative Brand at Hari Koperasi Negara 2022, Kuala Lumpur
In 2022, COGRAD proudly took part in Hari Koperasi Negara (HKN), one of the largest cooperative exhibitions in Malaysia, held in Kuala Lumpur. Our team set up an interactive booth where we presented our flagship product—Robusta coffee beans, medium and fully roasted, grown and processed under our own cooperative nursery system.
More than just a display, it was an opportunity for COGRAD to pitch our cooperative model and core products to the public, fellow cooperatives, and potential business partners. We also showcased unique member products like the Herbal Bidara Body Wash, highlighting the diverse talents within our network. The event was a powerful platform for brand visibility, product promotion, and expanding market access, in line with our mission to empower local entrepreneurs and uplift the cooperative economy.
